This website is operated by Myolex Inc. (“Myolex”, “we”, “us”). It is an informational site about our company, the mScan device, and electrical impedance myography research. This policy describes what information is and is not handled when you visit the site. If you have any questions, contact us at info@myolex.com.

Information we collect

The only personal information this site asks for is what you choose to enter in the contact form: your name, work email, institution or company, and a message about your study. There are no visitor accounts, comment features, or newsletter sign-ups, and we do not use analytics services, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Server logs and hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. Like virtually all web hosting, delivering the site involves processing standard technical data about each request — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — which may appear in short-term server logs used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this data to identify visitors. Cloudflare’s own practices are described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse; the site itself sets no cookies.

Third-party content

Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts; your browser requests those files directly from Google, which therefore receives your IP address and standard request information. The site also links to external resources such as PubMed and journal publishers; once you follow such a link, that site’s own privacy practices apply.

If you contact us

If you submit the contact form or email us at info@myolex.com, we receive your contact details and the contents of your message, and we use them only to respond and correspond with you. Form submissions are delivered to our email by Formspree, Inc., our form-processing provider, whose practices are described in the Formspree privacy policy. Our email is hosted on Google Workspace. We do not sell your contact information or share it for marketing purposes.

Research and clinical data

This website does not collect or process any study, clinical, or health data. Data collected with the mScan device in research studies is governed by the applicable study protocols, agreements, and consents — not by this website policy.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works — for example, by adding a contact form or analytics — we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page.
